Why is the skin loose after weight loss?

Less fat: Skin is loose after weight loss because there is less stuff underneath it than before. As the fat cells shrink and the skin often can not shrink as quickly as the fat beneath it. The good news is, the skin is a resilient organ and frequently shrinks over time. The more weight lost and the faster it is done the more likely for loose skin. Sweat, moisturizers, youth, and surgery can help.
