Hmmm: Usually i separate these two things. They are not often related. But... Abdominal cramps is gastrointestinal. It can be from an infection. It could be from an abdominal mass. If you have severe cramps see a doctor. If you have backache it is a common ailment. So you might have both but they are unrelated. Most back pain will resolved after 4-6 weeks. Persistent pain needs a visit to the doc.
