I have calcangal valgus posterior tibial tendon dysfunction. could someone describe to me the cause, symptoms and treatment options for it?

By and large, the: Cause of such problems is hereditary. Your body is a "walking machine" built by your parents. The problem is that the machine wasn't built structurally sound. There are imbalances that cause your feet to flatten out or pronate severely. The tendon is fighting a losing battle trying to hold up the arch. Conservative treatment involves orthotics or ankle braces, and sometimes surgery is needed.
