What options are available for treating cataracts?

Surgery: Once the lens opacified then it may interfare with vision and the person's dialy activities. Then the person needs cataract surgery. Cataract can cause changes in refractive error. The person may benefit from up dating her/his glassess.

Surgery once needed: Once vision is decreased and limiting normal daily activities, then cataracts are removed with surgery.
