Painful vesicles: Usually occur on mucosa overlying bone, or a hard palate or attached gingiva. It usually occurs in clusters of small red or white border vesciular or ulcerated lesion approximately 1-2mm diameter. They are usually painful. Treated with the antiviral meds (acyclovir). Do not use topical steroid without antiviral meds!
