Variables: The real goal of fertility treatment is create a healthy family. The chance of twins depends on your age, the reason for your fertility, and the choices that you and your doctor make in fertility care, and could be anywhere from 1% to 50%. Fertility treatments can effectively maximize the pregnancy rate while minimizing the risk. Check with your reproductive endocrinologist for guidance.

Depends on treatment: Clomid (clomiphene) ovulation induction may pose a 5-8% multiple pregnancy outcome. Injectable FSH treatment carries a higher risk of approximately 25%. In vitro fertilization carries a 30-35%, but this is highly dependent on number of embryos transferred to the uterus and several other parameters.
