Many different types: Filling of teeth can be done a one visit with amalgam( silver materials/ mercury . Composite which is made of quartz and silicates. You can also have what's called inlay or inlays made of gold, gold and porcelain , all porcelain , zirconium, processed composites. The last will take two visits because these are made at a laboratory.
