Pigments: During pregnancy and the use of certain hormones like birth control pills, the body will produce more pigment. This usually becomes apparent in the line below the belly button, around the eyes, and sometimes other areas of the body.

Non pregnant ?: It could be associated with types of pre-diabetes. See your doctor if no obvious cause.
