Common!: Perphaps 20-30% of psoriasis patients develop arthritis. So having a strong family history for both psoriasis and arthritis are very important rheumatology questions to ask! i believe it is more common than rheumatoid arthritis. This is true in my practice. Over halp of my patients with psoriatic arthritis do not know they have it, until a thorough investigation for hidden spots identifies it!
