No. : Spiriva is a long-acting bronchodilator. It does not treat the underlying inflammation or other mechanism of pulmonary fibrosis. It may reduce the symptoms of breathlessness, but it does not treat the underlying cause.

No: Spiriva is helpful for patients with history of copd. If you have pulmonary fibrosis and copd, there may be a role for spiriva, but not for only pulmonary fibrosis.

No: spiriva will not treat pulmonary fibrosis. It can potentially help open your airways and make it easier to breathe. Most often though, these medications do not work well or at all for fibrosis.
