A member asked:

I have not had sex and i don't believe i'm pregnant but i'm having some pains after ovulation. is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mittelschmerz: Pain around ovulation happens to many women and there's even a name for it: mittelschmerz! the pain can last a few hours to a few days. However, with any pelvic or abdominal pain, you can't always assume it's something harmless like mittelschmerz before you've had an exam by your doctor and ruled out more serious causes. So make sure you get checked out! best of luck.
