would omnicef (cefdinir) be considered one of the safest antibiotics? how about for heart patients? or there any safer?

See below: Omnicef (cefdinir) is a safe as any antibiotic. Certainly sulfur based antibiotics are more likely to cause a reaction. Si, in that sense is is safer.

Yes: It is afe if you are not allergic to sulaf drugs. It will not prolong the qt interval on your ekg and will not affect gilberts syndrome.
