What are the long-term effects of atrovent nasal spray ? i have used for 10 yrs. this past yr, i have experienced reduced urine flow. is it related?

Possible: Atrovent (ipratropium) (ipratroprium) has been available for quite a long while. It has a low side effect profile. Although i can't say for sure it very unlikely that after 10 years you will begin to have any secondary effects. Like any anti-cholinergic medicine it can cause urinary retention. This is much more common in men, especially if they have protate hyper trophy. There are other meds you can switch.
