Hormone imbalance: There are many reasons women miss their cycles. If not pregnant, missed cycles can be due to failure to ovulate. If you have new stress, significant weight changes, or medical illness you can see changes in cycles. Most commonly, issues with thyroid can interfere with cycle regulation. You should consult with a physician to determine why you have missed your period.
