What are the consequences of muscle stimulation therapy?

Increased Strength: If the muscles are stimulated, by most any means, then they will become stronger, have more power and enable that muscle to do what it is supposed to do. If all muscles become stronger, then they will act in concert to give better function, mobility and performance.

Muscle growth : Typically stimulating muscles will lead to their growth if done correctly; however, electrical stimulation can be used for several muscle goals including breaking or decreasing spasms, and improving blood flow. Be sure your therapist understands YOUR goals and then he/she can select the correct form of e stim to help reach your goals with you.
