Can eye crust be caused by an injury in your upper extremities?

Doubtful: I can't think of a way to relate those two things. Has limitation of the use of your arms changed something about the way you care for yourself (e.g. Not washing face the same way?). Are you on new/add'l medications that could be causing dry eyes?
