Unsure: A very loud noise, close to the ear, could cause some damage to the ear. This may result in tinnitus. It is less likely to be a cause of imbalance. How is the hearing? Does it affect one side or both? Have you been exposed to trauma from loud noises before? It may take some time for this to improve. Weeks of time are not out of the question.
