Capsaicin creams: It doesn't penetrate deep enough to affect large joints. It acts on superficial skin sensory receptors. Since its unregulated (by fda), you don't really know what you're getting. If you are curious, try it for 6 weeks and see if you get any benefit then stop if you don't.
