Sounds like a Virus: Has he been exposed to any kids with similar symptoms? Has he had all immunizations? I suggest you contact your pediatrician or family doctor with any worsening of symptoms. Avoid aspirin! use tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin for fever symptoms like headache. Maintain good hydration with soups or broth as tolerated. Check with your dr. Regarding treating elevated temperature only with no other complaints.
