Laxative for toddler: Pedialax is labeled for two years and up. These recommendations are generally based on an expected weight range. So it is possible for a near two year old to meet pharmaceutical limits for pedialax but it is best to run the question by your physician who has knowledge of your child's weight. For chronic constipation, i prefer a weekend long clean out using miralax, (polyethylene glycol) lots of water & a soft diet.
