Difficult: In your case when you only have a few periods per year, it would be difficult to know. This is because you probably only ovulate about 2-4 times a year. If you want to get pregnant, i recommend seeing a reproductive endocrinologist to help guide you. Good luck!

No: Chances are you are probably anovulatory (not releasing an egg on a monthly basis) or at best oligo-ovulatory where you may be releasing an egg 2-4x a year. Being so irregular, it is very difficult to tell when or if you are ovulating. Odks and BBT charts are not very helpful. May want to talk to your gyn about inducing ovulation with low dose fertility medications. Good luck.
