Get her checked out: For your piece of mind-it would be worth while to have your 10 month old checked if she is not responding to your "comfort" care. Fever in itself is not the danger, rather, the issue of what other symptoms are present and how long and severe it is becoming.

Usable guidelines: A kid @ 10m will to get 5-7 respiratory & 2-3 diarrheal illnesses/yr.Most will be viral & self limited. When febrile, their heart rate increases 10 beats/min per f degree & respiratory rate increases 5.If the kid is playful @ times & taking fluids well enough to wet diapers every 6h, this may pass or wait for a regular office visit.Sustained fever>102, poor activity or drinking, deserve urgent care.
