Thinned Uterus: It sounds like your uterus is not tolerant of stretching to full term as it is. And if your doctor has been able to see first-hand that your uterus is thinned out, you have a distinct advantage in knowing the possibility of rupture does exist. Many women do not have this warning and have lost, not only their babies, but their lives. You need to be followed very closely by you doctor.

Not sure: Is the uterine wall thinned, or the cervix itself? A prematurely thinning cervix with previous multiple pregnancy loss can be surgically tied together (cerclage) in the 2nd trimester. A thinned uterine wall from a previous C-section scar needs monitoring by your OB md as there is nothing that can be avoided by you to change any outcomes except good prenatal care.
