Have someone help: In the beginning of a switch, if baby can smell you she is unlikely to take a bottle. Have dad or a friend offer the bottle & leave the area. She may fuss from separation anxiety, but if she is hungry, she should tale a bottle from them. After a while she should be willing to take one from you.

Congratulations!: Typically-developing infants have implicit or procedural memory by 5 months. By 6 months this leads to stranger anxiety & rejecting a bottle if exclusively breast-fed till then. That's why it's good to wipe out babies' mouths after the last feed & put them to sleep drowsy but awake in their own cribs by 4 mos. Learned behaviors start at 6 mos. If dad is patient, ask him to start bottle feeds.
