What should i know about hairline spine fractures?

Should heal: Hairline means that there is a crack in the bone, but that the pieces have not moved much. It is easier for the body to heal them in most cases. Depending on the part of the bone, your age, habits it should heal in a few months. Pain usually decreases even before total healing. Tobacco use slows bone healing.

Take it easy: Most spine fractures will heal within 3 months with bracing, limiting strenuous activity and close follow-up with a spine specialist. Some fractures require surgical stabilization and kyphoplasty is an option for elderly patients with compression fractures. Check out spine-health.Com.
