Write it down: Some patients have found it helpful to write brief notes about their symptoms and concerns prior to their appointment. You could hand this to your doctor and then work from there to discuss your symptoms and treatment plan. Best wishes!

Keep going and relax: Though individual advice cannot be offered here, this is really more common than most people admit. Going to a "psych" can be anxiety-provoking as it involves trusting someone and taking some chances with new ways of dealing or confronting things. Dissociative feelings are often a symptom of anxiety and repeat exposure coupled with relaxation and increased comfort is often the cure.
