ER can help: Get evaluated; the er doc will see you. If they think appropriate they will send her home. May have dysfunctional uterine bleeding which sometimes can be managed at home.

Wife needs evaluatio: Any significant bleeding from any orifice of the body needs to be evaluated, diagnosed and treated. If you wife has very heavy bleeding and it goes on for prolonged time beyond usual 3-6 days, then she needs a gynecology evaluation. This would be done in an er, but would suggest finding an urgi-center or perhaps a medical walk-in clinic that will allow you to pay on a sliding scale.
