What is the prognosis for lung cancer that has metastases to the brain and pelvic area?

<6 months: Brain metastasis is poor prognostic factor in general...More than one or in multiple regions worse. Likely less than 6 mont.S worse for small than non small cell.

Fair: There are several factors that affect prognosis. First the type of lung cancer. Is it small cell or non-small cell. Second, has there been a check on the molecular markers on the tumor (egfr, alk, ros 1?) there are targeted agents for those tyoe of tumors and patients do much better than the average. Discuss with your oncologist treatment options prognosis. Avoid internet for prognosis.
