See below: Those are complete different and wholly unrelated conditions. It's like apples to broccoli. Costochondritis is inflammation of the cartilage between your ribs & breastbone & possibly of the ribs too. It's basically bruising. Crohns disease is an inflammatory disease that causes irritation, malabsorption, & diarrhea of the intestines (and possibly the stomach and esophagus) plus other issues.
