See a podiatrist: Trimming the thickened toenails can be a solution. This can be done manually by grinding or can be done with a keratolytic (medication) which can be prescribed. Consider seeing a podiatrist because it may not just be thick toenails. There may be an underlying infection in the nail and/or under the nail that needs to be treated.
