Treatable!: Infection after delivery is more common than we think. If you had prolonged rupture of membranes, instrument/forcep delivery, etc, you may experience puerperal sepsis. Typically, an immunocompetent person can fight off infection and a course of antibiotics can help treat off infection if needed. It is better to treat earlier than later!
