Probably yes: Hpv is best prevented by receiving the vaccine prior to initiation of sexual activity. After it is present, it can recur even with treatment. Transmission can also occur when there are are no visible warts. It is not an extremely contagious organism but has prediliction for mucosal(wet non-hair bearing skin)surfaces.

Need more informatio: Your question can not be answered as we need more information as to how your hpv was diagnosed, did you have genital warts and how you were treated and has all the lesions cleared and for how long.
