A member asked:

Why do i always cough in the morning?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cough : Probably due to dry mouth, post nasal drip, sinus congestion or disease, allergy and asthma. If you have congestive heart failure, especially left sided failure, pulmonary edema can cause coughing. If your symptoms worsen or if pain and shortness of breath is associated, i'd recommend you see your internist.
