My preauricular pit is infected. it doesn't hurt but a stinky discharge comes out. what happens if i don't get it fixed?

Spread: The infection will spread through your lymph nodes and you could develop cellulitis. Eventually it can go into your blood stream. See a physician for treatment. Often time incision with drainage and antibiotcs is helpful. If the abscess has already drained and none other exist, then antibiotics and careful follow up with your physicain would be appropriate.
