Depends: If you usually have high blood pressure, and there are no other symptoms, take your BP medications and try to get to your doctor asap, if your blood pressure usually normal or never been that high before, and/ or you are having other symptoms like dizziness, headache, visual changes, palpitations, shortness of breath, chest pain or pressure, than you do need to go to er.
