Oil of wintergreen: We use this in foul smelling cases on our masks. Usaually we just change the cast in the office. Some of my patients live 3 hours away and this might help rather than drive 6 hours round trip to get a cast change. This could also be an indicator of infection if there is a would so talk with your doctor.

Cast smell: Is from dirts and bacteria and old skin. There are water resistant casts that can be rinsed. If you do not have that type, dryer sheets, aerosols like perfume, scented powder can all work
