Is colonic hydrotherapy really dangerous?

Hydrotherapy: Potential hazards are perforation (puncture) of the colon , infection, electrolyte imbalance. Pregnant women, patients with ulcerative or crohn's colitis , significant diverticulosis should not have hydrotherapy due to increased risk of complications. Whether or not colonic hydrotherapy is beneficial is a separate issue.
