Take it easy: Hopefully on vacation you can slow down and take it a little easier on your feet. Wear shoes that give good support and cushioning. And think about making an appointment with a podiatrist when you get back!

Ice and ibuprofen: Typically when on vacation many folks walk more than they are used to and that can cause foot pain. Typically it is plantar fascitis and ice and an antiinflammatory such as Ibuprofen helps. But stress fractures can occur as well typically causing pain to the top of the foot. If you pain keeps you from walking you should go to an urgent care or seek a foot specialist locally to get evaluated.
