Bone stimulator: A bone stimulator in my experience will make a stress fracture heal faster than natural forces alone unfortunately stimulators are expensive and health insurance companies only pay for them in treating non-unions or delayed unions of certain types of fractures.

No: Stomach ulcers are caused either by an infection with h pylori bacteria or by damage from non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaids such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or naproxen). Emotional stress does not cause stomach ulcers. Physical stress such as fractures of long bones or serious burns can cause bleeding ulcers, especially in hospitalized patients.

Displaced fracture: A minor growth plate injury that is not displaced would usually hurt less than a displaced fracture. The reason is the amount of motion that would occur with each type of injury. The more motion, the more pain that will be present. Some growth plate injuries can be displaced.

Rest: The most reliable way to heal a stress fracture is to rest the affected area. Sometimes, this is coupled with immobilization with a splint or cast. The timing of it depends on the fracture site, pattern, medical co-morbidities, smoking history and other factors. Best to have an xray and follow your orthopedist's treatment plan.
