A member asked:

How long for a spinal fusion to heal totally?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Stan Lee answered

Approximately 6mo: Similar to a surgically repaired extremity fracture, a spine fusion typically takes up to 6 months to fully consolidate. In a long fusion, such as in scoliosis surgery, the fusion mass is thought to continue to consolidate through the first year after surgery.
