A member asked:

I'm 5 months pregnant an i have began to have a very thick milky white discharge. should i go to the hospital to get antibiotics?

NO call your ob/gyn: Having a white discharge in pregnancy may not be due to an infection. It may be due to hormonal changes in pregnancy. I recommend that you be seen by your ob/gyn. This is generally something that does not require you to be evaluated in the er. If you were having severe abdominal pain, contractions or a temperature >100.4 then i would recommend you be evaluated by a physician immediately.
