He should be fine: The color of stool changes from day to day and clay-color, formed stool without any other symptoms (fever/pain etc..) is perfectly fine. We usually are more concerned about bloody stool, or tarry black stool, or currant-jelly stool with abdominal pain etc...So, if he is feeling fine, he is fine. If you have additional concern, consult doc. Good luck.
