Yes you should tell.: Drug tests vary based on what test is being required by employer or others. Sometimes benzodiazepines will be tested for and it is best you provide a prescription for your medications prior to testing including both Buprenorphine and clonazepam. Clonazepam may not be the best agent to prevent relapse if you are chronically on buprenorphine.

Yes : Why would one hesitate? If a dr is going to penalize a patient for having a brain illness, a second opinion is indicated. The situation may be unique. Never a good idea to self-treat with benzodiazepines. That being said, if it truly prevented a relapse, its a hard point to argue. But can rapidly develop a second problem w/ clonazepam. Docs as a rule get a long with honest patients. Be honest!

Yes.: your doctor will appreciate you telling them before they get an unexpected result. that said, most buprenorphine prescribers are not supportive of benzodiazepine use.
