Everything bad: Smoking increases the rate of hypertension, causing blood vessels to constrict, and increases arteriosclerosis, which causes blood vessels to narrow and weakens them. Smoking is associated with increased rates of heart attack and stroke, kidney failure and peripheral vascular disease - decreased circulation in arms and legs.
