Unload/ Visco: Post operative pain after meniscal surgery usually implies underlying degenerative changes. A special brace designed to unload the affected side of the knee (where the meniscus was removed) can be helpful- unloader brace. Viscosupplementation, injections of a viscous hylauronic acid material similar to your natural joint fluid, is an excellent option to enhance natural shock absorbing properties.
