Yes: Any treatment, however, would depend on what your symptoms are. Many people have spondylolysis or a spondylolisthesis and do quite well with exercise based therapy alone. If you begin having significant back or nerve pain, and other conservative treatment fails, a surgical repair of the pars defect or spinal fusion can be a permanent treatment.
