How long will the effects of a cortizone (hydrocortisone) shot in my hip to help with inflamation from sarcoidosis last?

It is variable: The effect depends on the severity of inflammation, the specific preparation and dose of the steroid that was injected and your response. The medication that is injected is not cortisone; it is a cortisone-like medication, usually much more potent.
