How could a thoracic aortic aneurysm lead to pulmonary congestion/cough?

Posible: The aneurysm can be compressing the bronchi (airway in the lung) leading to congestion and cough. It is not common but can be seen.

Several: Descending aorta can be quite large and compress the lung or the left airway- bronchus. Ascending aorta can have valve disruption and congestive failure as features of progression. Many are asymptomatic in the early stage and only detected by x-rays.
