A member asked:

Could transplant patients eat kimchi?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Should be fine: To my knowledge kimchee is an asian vegie dish. I know of no reports where it was thought to interact with immunosuppressive drugs given to transplant patients. If you just started eating it, and your blood levels of the anti-rejection drugs seem to have changed--alert you transplant team.
