A member asked:

I have a small wart on my finger, can i get rid of it by just touching it to something hot, and letting it blister and fall off that way?

Warts by viruses?: As warts are contagious , having been caused by a viruses of papilloma gp, and recurrence is possible if superficially shaved off with sharp blade / otc blistering agents , would recommend to go to your pcp/surgeon to get it removed . You applying heat and making the area to blister is not the correct way of treating and may esult in more tissue damage than you plan. Tb bact. Can cause warts but rare.
